Task 1a - CV

As daunting as it is your CV is the first thing a potential employer looks at so of course there is a big pressure to ensure that shows you off and that you come across as employable. In my CV I have tried to make it easy and simple so it only covers one sheet of A4 so that the reader feels like it is not too much to read and the most important aspects come through. Here is an example of my CV without some of the most personal parts.

I graduated from Elmhurst School for Dance in association with Birmingham Royal Ballet under the direction of Desmond Kelly, and have strong classical ballet technique with experience and further training in Jazz, Tap, Flamenco and Contemporary (Graham, Cunningham). I also previously studied at The Dance School of Scotland in Glasgow. I have worked with choreographers such as; David Bintley, André de Villiers, Julian Moss, Gabriel Copeli.

Okay so there it is...it's not quite the same format and stuff of my actual CV but please I would appreciate help and any advice for improving it because obviously I want the best CV I can get! Look forward to hearing your comments!

    Hi Rohanne,

    I really enjoyed the Wear it Pink post!

    In terms of the profile task, I would like to suggest you take the CV and draw out the main elements you want to include in the profile (that is the section under your picture.).

    Have a look at Melanie’s post, I thought she did a good job of extracting out her of her CV the main things she wanted to include in her profile.
